This week we invite you to discover the remarkable initiative of a Parisian haute couture brand, Isabel Marant vintage .
Since its inception, Isabel Marant has always highlighted its desire to create sustainable and quality pieces in a more eco-responsible way, including hand-made and timeless cuts.
Recently, the Parisian designer launched a vintage clothing store called “Isabel Marant vintage” available online as well as in several points of sale, the aim being to move towards a more circular economy.
The platform offers pre-worn Isabel Marant pieces carefully selected by the house at bargain prices that vary between €50 and €550.
You can find all kinds of iconic pieces of the brand in several sizes, from printed blouses to cowboy boots.
Anyone can sell or buy vintage Isabel Marant pieces on the platform .
The purpose of the platform is to offer a second life to quality clothing that can still last over time and therefore to reduce textile waste.
It also allows many people to have access to products that they do not have the means or the desire to buy new.
To encourage sellers, they are given a voucher that can be used at Isabel Marant for each item resold via the platform.
Also, to celebrate the launch of the platform, Isabel Marant is offering "surprise pouches" priced at €145 containing five pieces, a fabric bag, a t-shirt, a bracelet, a belt and a card holder.
However, if the primary goal of this initiative is to encourage more responsible consumption, it is not the ultimate vocation of the designer because all the funds collected by this operation will be donated directly to the Isabel Marant foundation , which is committed to the education of women.
