General conditions of sale and online purchase of non-personalized products and use of the website

Article 1. Fields of application

These general conditions apply to the purchase of non-personalized products, without intention of reselling them, by non-professional buyers made in France on the Melissa Shoes France website.

Personalized products mean products presented in the “made to measure” category and produced according to specifications specific to each customer who orders them and are not governed by these general conditions of sale.

Article 2. Order and buy on our website

2.1 Eligibility to order and purchase

In order to place an order on our website, you must have legal capacity and not purchase a product with the intention of reselling it.

2.2 How to order

Nothing's easier!

  1. Visit our e-store and find the products you want to wear.
  2. Add the products to your cart by clicking on the “Add to cart” button.
  3. Once you have finished your selection, place the mouse cursor on the basket at the top right and check its contents. Confirm by clicking on the “Proceed to payment” button.
  4. Check your order.
  5. Complete your email, delivery and billing addresses correctly
  6. Tap “Continue to Shipping”
  7. Check your details are correct and press “Continue to payment”
  8. Choose your payment method and proceed to payment. For more information, refer to articles 3 and following

Your order becomes final, as it appears on the screen, from the moment you validate it at the end of the order procedure.

Once payment has been made, a confirmation of your order and payment will be sent to you by email. Melissa Shoes France advises you to keep them, they may be useful to you later.

Please note, your order becomes final and binding on you from the moment you make payment.

2.3 Refusal of an order or cancellation of a purchase.

Melissa Shoes France reserves the right to refuse an order for just cause.

Melissa Shoes France also reserves the right to cancel a purchase (order accepted) for good cause.

Justified order refusals and purchase cancellations do not give rise to any compensation, but to reimbursement of the price of the products if this has been paid.

Shipping costs are not included in the prices indicated on the products. Shipping costs depend on the delivery method chosen and the delivery location. Shipping costs must be added to the product prices to calculate the total amount payable.

3.7 Pricing errors

Article 5. Shipping and delivery

5.1 Delivery

We deliver the products worldwide.

We deliver Monday to Friday. Orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are processed on Monday and shipped the following Tuesday.

In the event that the delivery address that you have given us proves to be inaccurate or in the event that it is impossible for the delivery service to deliver your package to you for reasons attributable to you, the costs of reshipping the package to us will be been returned will be your responsibility.

5.2 Delivery method and times

Melissa Shoes France offers one type of delivery. Deadlines run from receipt by Melissa Shoes France of full payment of the price:

If you do not receive your package, we recommend that you contact the La Poste assistance service at 3631. This service is accessible for all calls made from mainland France. Please note that this call is not premium rate, but additional charges may apply depending on your operator. Unfortunately, we are unable to pose as the customer and therefore cannot call La Poste on your behalf.

Article 6. Shipping costs and administrative formalities linked to the importation of our products

6.1 Shipping costs

The amount of shipping costs is €8.80 for Metropolitan France. They are free for all orders from 150€. International shipping costs vary on a case-by-case basis, you can view details by country by clicking here .

6.2 Customs taxes, import fees (for orders made abroad)

Customs taxes, administrative formalities as well as import fees or any other tax linked to the purchase of our products abroad remain the responsibility and charge of customers.

We invite our international customers to inquire about the procedures related to the importation of our products into their respective countries before finalizing their orders.

Article 7. Returns and cancellations

7.1 Returning defective products after delivery

You have the right to return delivered products if they are defective or do not conform to your order.

Legal guarantee for defective goods

We recognize the legal guarantee of 2 years (or any longer period possibly set out in the law of the country concerned) in the event of defects in the product. A product is said to be "defective" if it was received damaged or if a manufacturing defect or a material defect appears within a period of 2 years (or any longer period possibly stated in the law of the country concerned) from procurement. "The seller is required to deliver a voucher in conformity with the contract and is responsible for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. To comply with the contract, the property must:

7.2 Returning products after delivery without reasons – Right of withdrawal

If you are not satisfied with the products ordered, you can exercise your right of withdrawal and return them to us at your expense within 14 days postmarked. Shipping and return costs remain the responsibility of the customer and will be retained at the time of reimbursement.

The exercise of the right of withdrawal is materialized by the return of the products and is dated the day the returned products are sent, postmarked as proof.

Upon receipt of the products, we will reimburse the price of the products excluding shipping costs within a maximum period of 30 days or we will offer you a credit that you are free to refuse.

However, the return will be refused and will not give rise to a refund, in the following cases:

1. Boxes, packaging, labels, blister packs (plastic pouch) have been removed or damaged and not included in the return

2. The products have been washed, used or worn except for simple fitting

3. The product is not complete. If your order includes different products which are not linked to each other (non-exhaustive examples of products linked to each other: pair, inseparable set, etc.) you can return only part of your order. Only products returned complete (the pair of shoes and its original packaging) will be refunded.

4. The products have been worn, worn, modified or misrepresented

7.3 Returning non-defective products after delivery for standard exchange (of the same model and color, in a different size):

You have chosen the wrong size: you can request the exchange of your product for another size, always in your customer area or by clicking here . You provide the order number as well as the email address or telephone number used when validating the order.

This request must be made within 30 days of your purchase. The item must be returned in its original box and packaging with its label and pouch otherwise it will be refused by our services.

Once the return is received and validated, the new item will be sent to you immediately.

Return costs are our responsibility for any exchange made in Metropolitan France.

For abroad, return costs remain the responsibility of the customer and reshipping costs abroad are similar to those charged upon delivery.

Exchanges only concern the size or color for the same reference. It is not possible to exchange for another model or a model at a different price.

 

Article 8. Information relating to reimbursement

The costs of returning products that are defective or do not conform to your order will be fully refunded (shipping costs and return costs).

Delivery costs concerning refund requests linked to cancellation and return without justified reasons, made within the 14-day withdrawal period , remain the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted from the amount invoiced. of the order at the time of reimbursement.

For orders that have benefited from free shipping costs ( greater than 150 Euros), shipping costs will be debited from the amount invoiced at the time of reimbursement. In mainland France these costs amount to 8.80 Euros. Return costs remain the responsibility of the customer. On orders that have been shipped via Fedex, delivery and return costs may vary between 12 and 32 Euros depending on the destination and will be invoiced for each step.

Orders paid via Paypal will also be subject to additional costs of 10% of the order amount linked to administrative management by this service.

Pre-ordering allows you to reserve a product before it is marketed by Melissa Shoes France and to be among the first to benefit from a new Melissa Shoes France product. Pre-order is not yet available on Melissa Shoes France. We are doing everything we can to offer it to you very quickly.

Article 10. Promotional codes (discounts)
